It is crocheted from bottom to top, parallelogram wrap. An increase was made at one end and decrease at the other end. There are options to make it longer/wider if you desire. Sizes are 32” to 36” and 38” to 42”. Any yarn will be great as long as the wrap turns out drapey. Any colours will be great too.

32” to 36” – Length 44” x Breadth 25”, armhole 9”

38” to 42” – Length 54” x Breadth 31”, armhole 11” (approximation)

Armadillo 100% thick and thin slub rayon on cone; fingering weight; 1250 yds.

Fsc Foundation single crochet

First-fsc: ch 2, insert hook into first ch, (yo, pull through one loop) twice, yo, pull through two loops.

Next-fsc: Insert hook into 2 loops at the bottom of the last SC worked, YO and pull through the 2 loops, YO and pull through 1 loop (creating ch 1), YO and pull throug

Fsc 183 / 271 (multiple of 2+1)

Option to use ch 183. Ch 1, sc each ch, then start Row 1.

Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), * 2 dc in next Fsc, sk Fsc; rep from * to end, omit sk Fsc, dc in last Fsc, ch 3, turn.

Row 2: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, sc in every dc, except for the last 3, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), * 2 dc in next sc, sk sc; rep from * to end, omit sk sc, dc in last sc, ch 3, turn.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 – 24 (14”) / 28 (16”) more times.

(Do more repeats if you want your wrap to be longer.)

Use 2 stitch markers to split left front, center back and right front;

32” to 36” – 52 dc, pm, 80 dc, pm, 51 dc.

38” to 42” – 86 dc, pm, 100 dc, pm, 85 dc.

Left Front

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, sc in next 48 / 82 dc, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), * 2 dc in same sc, sk sc; rep from * to end, omit sk sc, dc in last sc, ch 3, turn.

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 – 8 / 12 more times. For last Row 2, omit the last ch 3 and turn.

Center Back Join position, that is join at the end of Left Front (RS).

Row 1: Join yarn with slip stitch in Center Back marker dc, ch 1, sc 80 / 100 dc, turn.
